Technology
For infotainment, the 2021 Hyundai Elantra provides
integration with an 8-inch touchscreen, with features such as Apple CarPlay and
Android Auto smartphone integration, an HD Radio receiver for digital tuning,
dual USB ports for charging and playing media from mobile devices, and
Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free phone calling and audio streaming.
A 4.2-inch color gauge cluster displays the vehicle's vital information, and
remote keyless entry enables access with the press of the corresponding key fob
button.
At the SEL trim level, automatic climate controls
are extended to the front passenger (in addition to the driver's side) for
individualizing heating and cooling preferences. Hyundai introduces a trial
subscription to SiriusXM Radio, and the remote keyless entry system is upgraded
to proximity keyless entry with push-button start for easier access and engine
starting. The SEL gets three years of the Blue Link Connected Care (for
functions to take care of the vehicles) and Remote (for remote-controlled
functions).
The Limited is unique with its Hyundai Digital Key
(to use your smartphone as a key), a pad for wirelessly charging mobile
devices, 10.25-inch touchscreen with a voice-activated navigation system, a
10.25-inch color gauge cluster (in place of the 4.2-inch one), and an
eight-speaker Bose premium audio system. In addition, Hyundai provides three
years of a third Blue Link package called Guidance for geographical
guidance.
