How Does the Nexo Fuel Cell Work?
Fuel cell vehicles are powered by electricity instead of gasoline. Unlike standard electric vehicles, however, you do not plug in a fuel cell vehicle to recharge it. Instead, fuel cell vehicles rely on hydrogen. After adding hydrogen to a Nexo Fuel Cell tank, the fuel cell uses an electrochemical process to remove electrons from the hydrogen cells to power the motor. Hydrogen cells are then combined with oxygen to form water vapor, which is vented through the exhaust. Because the Nexo Fuel Cell produces only water vapor, it adds no pollutants to the environment.
Nexo Fuel Cell Performance
The Nexo Fuel Cell comes with two trim levels: Blue and Limited. Both models produce 161 horsepower and deliver a robust 291 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive and a single-speed reduction gear transmission are both standard. The Blue trim has a driving range of 380 miles on a full tank, while the Limited trim can drive for 354 miles.
Nexo Fuel Cell Design
The Nexo Fuel Cell is not just a breakthrough in environmentally friendly vehicle technology; it will turn heads wherever you drive as well. A stylish grille and sleek headlights help make a strong first impression. The Blue trim comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, while the Limited trim has 19-inch alloy wheels, and both boast unique and beautiful designs.

With all seats up the Nexo Fuel Cell has a cargo volume of 29.6 cubic feet, and you can fold the rear row of seats down to free up to 56.5 cubic feet of cargo volume. Meanwhile, the cabin has plenty of luxurious touches, like bio-based leatherette seating surfaces and an available power tilt-and-slide sunroof.
